We would like to thank all the players, coaches, fans, referees, directors, and administrators for all their hard work to put on this very successful event.  Even though mother nature wasn’t too cooperative we had such a great turnout and experience.  With 413 teams participating this year we set a record for the largest adult flag event in the country.  Next year, we are expecting 500 teams, be a part of the action!

Did you catch the winners?  You can find the Champions of this year’s 45th Annual event by clicking here.

If you are interested in our 2015 Hall of Fame class you can find their bios by clicking here. If you are looking to nominate someone for next year you can find the nomination ballot by clicking here.

2015 Flag Football National Championship News Release

The USFTL is excited to announce that we are moving our 45th Annual National Championships to Tampa, FL. We are committed to delivering you a memorable and fun flag football event year after year. The reasons we are moving this year:

New facility – 16 full sized, fully lit fields. Every style & division will be playing at the same facility. No more ancillary facilities or driving between complexes. The biggest reason we are moving is because we have completely outgrown Austin Tindall. Without us moving, we would have to turn teams away, by moving we can offer new styles and bring in even more completion from all over the country.

Scheduling – With more fields, comes better scheduling. We will be scheduling breaks this year between games to avoid 2-3 hour delays, and give you time to get to your field. Another positive is no more games until 2am, we are hoping that the last game each night ends by 10pm to allow you time to rest and experience Tampa.

No increase in sanction fees or registration costs this year – even with a larger and better facility.

Improvement of Atmosphere and Gaming – This year we will be offering even more at the event, from better food and drink choices, to live music, player statistics, giveaways, and more. You will notice a drastic improvement in the event itself this year, for sure.

We know this change may take time for teams to adjust but the move was necessary to grow and improve. We appreciate all of our players, coaches, refs, staff, and directors, and are confident this will be the best National Championship yet. Our mission is to improve the quality of the event and help foster its growth. We can’t wait to see you down there!
