League Begins:  Saturday, April 3, 2010

League Ends: Saturday, May 22, 2010

Field:  Mentor Civic Center/Mentor High School
(Going North on 615, The Mentor High School Fine Arts and parking are
are on the RIGHT) The Fields are located between in Softball & T-ball fields.

Entry Fee: $80 per child 
                 (Includes NFL reversible game jersey, flag belt 
                  and NFL certificate of participation & Team Football)

Entry Fee Deadline: Monday, March 8, 2010

                  *NO PERSONAL CHECKS

Game:  5 on 5 Flag. (No blocking, no contact)
            (2) 12 minute halves; Double-headers every week
             2 USFTL Sanctioned Referees per game

Field Size:   60yds x 25 Yards

Mandatory Football:  Junior size ball

USFTL Referees:  USFTL of Cleveland prides itself in using only trained & 
                               certified USFTL Referees

Age Groups:

• 5-6 

• 7-8 

• 9-11 

• 12-14 

• 15-17 

(All Divisions may be made up of Boys, Girls, or Co-Ed)

Player Ratings Day: (Mandatory for ALL Players registered)
All boys & girls must be signed up as individual players
to be randomly drafted to teams based on age only.

(Pre-Existing Teams allowed, with discretion of League Directors)

Time: TBA  (Time Frames will be determined by the number of participants
                      within each age division)

(The online registration must be done through NFL Flag, it will require 
parents to set up an account. This only needs to be done the FIRST 
time you are registering your child.)

Steps for registering:

1. Make an account on NFL Flag by clicking on “CREATE ACCOUNT” (This is a one-time process) 
   Make sure to remember your username & password so you will not have to make 
   another account in the future!
2. Fill out all information (parent info NOT player; parent’s name, birthday, etc.) 
   and click “CREATE ACCOUNT”
3. Go to “ADD PLAYER” & fill out registration (parent & player information needed) – 
   You can put the teammate requests in the teammate request box as well as the comments box.
4. This will take you to the PayPal page where you can either pay with PayPal or 
   select to do a Non-PayPal payment with a credit card.

You will receive a confirmation email from NFL Flag as well as the information that PayPal sends.

Youth Coaches Needed!!!

Please contact the USFTL office if you are interested in becoming a USFTL Youth Flag Football Coach or Assistant Coach! As a coach, your name will need to be added to the NFL Flag website. 

Coaches must do list:

• Attend Ratings Day

• Communicate with USFTL via email

• Conduct practices

• Contact team players about up coming games

• Make sure sportsmanship & safety is upheld at all times
