2009 USFTL Youth Flag League News & Notes

Week 7: Great fall season play everyone!!! Luckily, it looks like we've dodged the snow! All the coaches have the PLAY OFF schedules for this weekends (11/7) game times. Please contact your coach to get your child's game time. Good luck to all of the teams and coaches this weekend! Every player will be receiving a Certificate this weekend and the winning teams will be getting the awards & trophies at the fields! All coaches will be receiving a Plaque at the fields as well (Bellflower Park)! Best of luck!

Week 6: Only one more week left of League play until the Play offs & Superbowl games take place!! Spiritwear orders may still be placed as at the blue tent. All orders will be available for the playoff day. Information regarding the USFTL/NFL Youth Spring Flag Football League as well as the two USFTL Youth Flag Football Summer camps will be updated on the website within the next few weeks. **The 2009 USFTL State of Ohio Youth Flag Football Championships location has been CHANGED to Mentor! Teams from all over Ohio as well as Michigan, Florida, and Kentucky have been in contact with the USFTL & are interested in attending! Each division champion team will be given a Paid Bid to the State of Ohio Championships taking place on November 21, 2009! 

Week 5: Nice work to all teams and coaches this weekend! If anyone has any questions about picture orders, please call Legends Sports Photography (the information is in the picture packets). All of the Spiritwear orders have been turned in and will be available for pickup this weekend (10/24) at the blue tent! Orders can still be placed for the Spiritwear but they will not be available until the week of 10/31. If you need a copy of an order form please email usftl@usftl.com. Order forms will also be available at the blue tent this weekend. 

Week 4: Congratulations to all teams and coaches on this weekends games, many of the games were very close in score! **Team & Individual Pictures will be available and given to the coaches at this weekends games (10/17). ** Thank you to Legends Sports Photography for having everything ready in such a timely manner! Also, please note that (10/17) is the last day to place orders for the USFTL Youth Flag Football Spiritwear. Orders can be placed at the tent or faxed to 440-974-8441 before October 17th. 

Week 3: Nice job to all of the teams! Another week of great sportsmanship and character by players & coaches! Parents: there is USFTL Flag Football Spiritwear available to order for the 2009 USFTL Youth Fall League. Flyers & order forms will be available at the fields this Saturday (10/10). 

Week 2: Great job to all of the teams & coaches! The rain began to clear up after all of the games (of course!) Please remember that this is a NON-CONTACT League and the USFTL demonstrates a No Tolerance Policy. The team and individual pictures done by Legends Sports Photography will be distributed at the fields before the end of the season.  Date: TBA. 

Week 1: It was so nice seeing everything come together for a great start to the 2009 Fall Season at Bellflower Park!  As parking is scarce, please make sure your vehicle is parked in a parking spot or if you do park in the street, that you are parked on the side with out the fire hydrants. Also, thank you for picking up the sideline garbage, there will be more trash cans for next weeks games. Please respect Bellflower Park and continue to pick up any garbage for the remainder of the season.
