CASH OPTION EXPLANATION ("A" Divisions Only): Cash Option Explanation

GAME TIMES & FLIGHTS: 4 on 4, 4 on 4 (35+) Masters, 5 on 5, 5 on 5 (35+) Masters & Youth Divisions, will start Saturday and will play through Sunday, possibly late in the evening.
All other divisions will start Friday. To be on the safe-side when making travel arrangements plan to start early Friday morning (7:00am) and end late Sunday evening. So that you do not forfeit any games on account of your travel arrangements.

GAME TIME REQUESTS: We are trying to take as little game time request as possible. If you need to enter a request, please make sure to put in the request when you register. Requests are NOT a guarantee, but we will try our best to meet your request if it is possible. There are over 300 teams in 23 brackets and A LOT of fields, so everyone may not get the game time they request.

TEAM/PLAYERS PLAYING IN MORE THAN 1 STYLE OF GAME: If your team or players on your team are playing in more than one style of game, you can put in a request so that we will try to avoid scheduling both teams’ first game at the same time. Again, it is NOT a guarantee we can do this, but we will try our VERY BEST to meet this request. We have not run into too many problems with this in the past. But anything after the first game time is out of our control, Just make sure to put in the request when you register, if your team or players on your team would like to play in different styles.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Players are allowed to play on more than 1 team in different styles of game (Example: Screen A-Flag & 5 on 5 Flag).
Players are NOT allowed to play on more than 1 team in the same style of game or same division (Example: A-Flag & B-Flag).

35 & OVER (Masters) & YOUTH DIVISIONS: Any player playing in these divisions must have proof of age in case of an Age Protest. 35 & Over players must have a Drivers License/I.D. and Youth players must have a Birth Certificate.
If there is an Age Protest against your team and the player in question can not provide proof of age at that moment, that game will be forfeited.

THURSDAY NIGHT MEETING: This meeting is very important. This is where ALL teams will receive their starting game times for Friday. You will also receive a tournament package, which will have the roster in it. ALL TEAMS please make sure you have at least 1 person from your team show to this meeting to get your correct game time.
Information on the Thursday Night, January 16th Meeting
Since the 4 on 4 divisions, 5 on 5 divisions & youth divisions do not start until Saturday, those teams are not required to attend the Thursday night manager meeting. If someone from your team is able to, they are more than welcome. If not, please have a team representative check-in at Austin Tindall on Friday, January 17th to get the tournament package and game time for Saturday.

EJECTED PLAYERS: All teams should check the ejected players list to make sure you do not have any ejected players on your team. If you do, please make sure their fine gets paid before they play on your team. If this is not done, your team can be forfeited out of the National Championships. Ejected Players List

ROSTERS: All teams should turn in their roster at the Thursday Night Meeting. If you do not have the roster available at the meeting, you may turn it in at the main building or Director at your field before you can start your first game. Upon turning the roster in, you will receive a ticket that is to be given to the referees before you start your game. All rosters must be filled out completely and signed. If you have a player on your team that is not present at the fields when you turn your roster in, add their name to the roster, turn it in & then have that player see the Director so that he/she may sign it before they start to play.
If you want to get a head start on getting your roster filled out, print a copy of the USFTL Roster
