Combining softball with touch & flag football, has played tournaments & league games in 21 states. 4 time league MVP at Carnegie-Mellon University College 1969-1972. Played on teams that won league & tournament titles in 4 decades (70’s, 80’s, 90’s, & 2K’s). Competed in all forms of the game available in the area – 7-man Touch (100yd field), 7-man Touch (80yd field), 6-man Touch, 8-man Flag, 7-man Flag & 4 on 4.
Most Memorable Moment in Flag & Touch Football: 1988 Cleveland Snowball NIT, Universal Medical went 6-1 to finish 2nd out of 20 teams, proving that we could compete against top teams on the regulation field game & to qualify for our 1st National Tournament in St. Louis. Even more
memorable, was that the tournament was held 3 days after the birth of my son.
